The program for our journey in the Serengeti was to visit the so-called Western Corridor, and in particular the Grumeti River. So after a night in Ndutu we reluctantly left the family of Lions and we entered the park. We found other groups of lions, some of which rested on a Kopje. Every time I come to the Serengeti remain fascinated by the beauty of the scenery and the Kopje in particular. They’re like huge sculptures that rise into the sky, each with a different shape. Everyone has an incredible varità of animals.
The animal books describe the Protele, the smallest member of the family of Ienidi as exclusively nocturnal and difficult to see. However, this late in the morning we found a Protele for a walk in the bush, a sighting very unusual and interesting.
