22/07/2017 – 31/07/2017 – Elephants and Great Migration – Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara, Kenya (FULLY BOOKED)

Ten days on safari in Kenya. This journey will take us among the Elephants of Amboseli NP, at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro, to observe and photograph their social behavior and interactions in a dramatic settings of dust storms, Acacia woodlands and lush marshes. We’ll spend a night at Lake Naivasha, where we will visit the lake at sunrise to photograph Flamingos, amazing birdlife and the African fish-eagle fishing. The safari will end with six days in the Masai Mara NR, where we will follow and photograph Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards and the amazing spectacle of the great wildebeests migration.

Seven days on safari in Kenya’s Masai Mara NR following the lives of Cheetahs, Leopards and Lions. We will photograph them from sunrise to sunset as their lives unfold before our eyes and cameras. We will watch them play, hunt, defend their territories, socialize, rest, in the amazing setting of the Mara’s golden plains. At this time of the year the great wildebeest migration has reached the Masai Mara filling the plains with hundreds of thousands of animals. Predators’ activity is at its peak, Crocodiles hunt in the river as the animals cross. It’s the Masai Mara at its best.

Twelve days safari (11 nights) in the mighty Zambesi river valley. Three nights on the shores of Lake Kariba photographing wildlife framed by the famous dead trees emerging from the water. We’ll then transfer to Mana Pools National Park for 7 nights (2 in a remote spring in the inland and 5 on the floodplains along the Zambesi river). Mana Pools is a World Heritage Site, a magical place where wildlife is seen in an enchanted forest of arching trees and light shining through. Elephants, Lions, Wild dogs and many other species are seen on foot, at close distance. An experience of full immersion in nature without barriers that is truly unforgettable.

12/10/2017 – 26/10/2017 – On the Trails of Desert Wildlife – Namib/Naukluft NP & Kaokoland, Namibia (FULLY BOOKED)

Two weeks exploring the Namib Desert and the Kaokoland, looking for desert adapted wildlife. We will spend three days on the majestic dunes around Sossusvlei, looking for Oryx, Ostriches, Springboks and other wildlife surviving in these extremely harsh conditions. We’ll then head north and spend ten days in the Kaokoland, sleeping in four different locations. Here we will search and photograph the famous Desert Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Mountain Zebras against the amazing backdrop of dunes and rocky outcrops and along the dry river beds where they gather to look for food.

Nine days on safari in two of Kenya’s most beautiful parks. We’ll then fly to the Masai Mara NR, where we will follow and photograph the big and small cats, Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards. The advantage to photograph in the Mara at this time of the year is that there are very few people.

26/01/2018 - 04/02/2018 - Southern Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro (1 night), Ndutu (5 nights) and Serengeti (3 nights), Tanzania (ONE SPOT AVAILABLE)

Ten days in Northern Tanzania. We will focus on the plains of the Southern Serengeti, where the great Wildebeests migration gathers in the wet season to give birth to their calves. We will follow families of Cheetahs and Lions as they search for food on the endless plains, interspersed by majestic Kopjes. We will scan the plains around Lake Ndutu as the Wildebeests make their way into the area after their long journey from the North.  We will look for iconic images of Lions and Cheetahs on the Kopjes and for the smaller predators, equally interesting, such as Jackals, Foxes, Serval cats and Wild dogs. We’ll finish with a visit to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater.
