Back on the ground, I headed to the crossing sites on Paradise plains and encountered a coalition of 5 young male lions, presumably brothers, accompanied by a single female and an older black-maned male. As they fed on a warthog kill, one of the brothers mated repeatedly with the female and vehemently chased away any other male getting close to her.
