While looking for the pride of lions, I was informed that a female leopard had been spotted with a kill on a tree along the Ntiakitiaki river. It was most likely a leopard I had never seen so I went there and found her sound asleep on her Impala carcass, almost fully covered by branches. I waited as the sun went down until she finally descended the tree for a drink at the river. I took a few pictures with a very low light. As it started raining heavily I headed back to camp, leaving her to her silent patrolling of her territory.
