Today I came across an Impala kill stashed in a thick bush nearby Intrepids’ Camp. It was a fresh kill, and the author could not be any other but a Leopard. So I waited. In the late afternoon, a young female came out of the bush and went to feed. Soon after, a bigger female, her mother, joined her. I recognized them as Olive and her fourteen-month old daughter. It was great to see them together sharing the kill. But as they were feeding, I could still hear Leopards’ calls from deep in the bushes. They were not alone. Tomorrow I am hoping to find out who was making those calls!
