As expected, the rains of the last few days attracted the first herds of wildebeests across the border from Tanzania into the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The herds arrived in the last couple of days and some of them are now crossing the Mara River heading west to the Mara Conservancy. The area around Lookout Hill is full of wildebeests and the vultures are taking their share from the remains of kills made by lions in the night.
