A lot of Lions today, from four different prides. Despite this being the tough season for them, without the migrating Wildebeests, all of the Lions we saw seemed to be doing very well. A group of three females in the western section of the Talek river with two cubs was eating a Warthog. The big coalition of seven males along the Mara river and the females and cubs have been extremely busy killing Hippos about once a week this month. Even the three male Cheetahs had their bellies completely full this morning and went around marking landmarks such as termite mounds, fallen logs or Balanites trees.
