Today it was one of those rare days when we saw all three of the Big Cats. Olive greeted us at first light, walking beautifully across the plains in perfect light. The Mara River pride of Lions was still at the dead Hippo in the late morning and in the afternoon we caught up with a Cheetah with a single 5 months old cub, which I had seen in a couple of occasions in January. The two played together in the beautiful evening light, as big flocks of Eurasian White Storks flew across the blue skies. And all with very few vehicles to share it with. A typical amazing day when the Mara is at its best!
