Today we started out early looking for Olive. It was the last morning for my guests, and everything seemed slow. Olive was not found, and even the three male Cheetahs could not be found in the place where they have been the last few weeks. But then we got a call that they had been seen walking across Rhino Ridge and down towards the Talek River. They possibly heard some scattered Wildebeests’ herds from the Loita Hills population. They walked many kilometeres through empty plains and hills, but at around noon they found a lone adult Wildebeest. They chased it, reached it rapidly and tried to pull it down. The Wildebeest fought back really hard and it took them approximately ten minutes to finally subdue it. They all had to recover extensively from the stress before they could start eating. An amazing scene, just the perfect end for a wonderful safari!
