First full day in Lake Nakuru NP, which does not fail to deliver. We started off with one of my favorite subjects and weather conditions, Flamingos in the mist. Spotted Hyenas were of course on the scene to hunt the birds in the water, without much success today. The water level is the highest I ever saw, and the number of Flamingos is good, although many of them are reportedly spending time in Lake Bogoria. Rhinos and Buffalos abounded of course on the lake shore, while in the evening a group of Lions sleeping on an Acacia was charged by a big herd of Buffalos.
