Last day in Mara for this trip, and a wonderful morning with the Marsh Lions. The two cubs we watched a few days ago were out in the open with their mother. one of the two ventured away towards other members of the pride, and a young female started playing with the cub, pushing it, biting it as it snarled back. The game went on for a really long time, while the mother had retreated to the bushes to nurse the other cub. An amazing interaction, especially when another young female and a young male also joined in the game of torturing the little cub. We then had to leave to Nakuru, where we reached in the afternoon, and were greeted by hundreds of thousands of White Pelicans flying, fishing and bathing, and a decent number of Flamingos.
