Despite yesterday’s heavy rain we didn’t have much mist on the lake, as I was hoping. We went to a site where we expected a lot of Pelicans but we found a few of them bathing in the sweetwater entering the lake. The afternoon was a real treat with magnificent Lions mating and roaring at less than 5 meters from the vehicle, and another male lying beautifully on the exposed roots of a fallen Acacia.
