Another afternoon with the Caracals, after spending the morning with a Lioness with tiny cubs on the Talek river and a single Cheetah hunting an Impala fawn. The Caracals spent the day in a hole, and it was interesting to see the cubs still suckling from their mother, a very intimate moment. In the evening, as usual they came out after sundown and photography was extremely challenging, especially without the 600mm! The cubs played and came across an active termite mound, from which termites started to fly out and disperse, attracting the attention of the young Caracals.
