Just out of camp we came across some Lions feeding alongside a huge clan of Hyenas. We hoped and expected some interactions but not much happened, and the Lions retreated on Rhino Ridge. Many Wildebeests congregated at Cul de Sac crossing point, but never got even close to the river. They later in the day approached Main crossing but nothing happened again. As they retreated back up in the plains, a Lioness waited for them in ambush and jumped out from the rocks, but she couldn’t catch anything. The afternoon was cloudy and dark, we are left hoping to see some migration activity tomorrow. This year crossings on the Mara have been scarce and occasional so far. The Cheetah image is from yesterday morning.
