In the last few days many Wildebeests had gathered daily at the main crossing sites with the intention of heading south, but they never did actually cross. Today I was expecting and hoping they would finally do it, but no animals were at the crossing sites at all. Nonetheless, it was a really full day for us, with excellent sightings of all the big five, including a lone Black Rhino out in the plains, and Olive, the Leopard lying beautifully on an exposed branch. In addition, we had two Servals and this beautiful Hippo enjoying the rapids in the Mara river.
