We were out in total darkness to head to where Lorian has her cubs, and we found her before sunrise exactly where we left them. It was difficult from a photographic point of view to get any decent image as there were a lot of bushes and twigs, and furthermore luck was not on our side as she would always sit with her back to us. Nonetheless, it was another very nice morning, with some playing by the cubs, nursing, grooming. Lorian left them in the gulley at around 8.30am and went up the hill. We decided to let her hunt or rest in peace and we moved on. We went back in the evening, but she didn’t return. One cub came out and climbed a small bush, peeping at us through the foliage with its beautiful blue eyes.
