We are following the Cheetah with her two cubs who is really facing a hard time. The location where we left her yesterday was full of Hyenas. So she moved away towards the Talek river, looking for food, crossing huge empty fields of long grass. She finally reached to a place where there were Gazelles and Impalas, but she wasn’t lucky, as right there she came across the two male Cheetahs, Honey’s Boys. She looked nervous and wary, but nonetheless she decided to try to hunt. As soon as she did, the boys caught up with her, and kidnapped her and her cubs next to a bush. They didn’t let her go for about two hours, at one point even charging angrily towards the cubs. When they finally decided to leave her in peace, she sneaked away in the tall grass and retreated to rest for the rest of the day. We left her and spent the last evening light with Olive and her cub, amazingly playing right in front of us, after finishing a Waterbuck kill. An unforgettable moment.
