Yesterday we spent a lot of time with Malaika, the Cheetah. She was back in the area where we had seen her the day before, with one cub missing. She was still looking for it, until she decided to move on in the grass. Life goes on. She still has another cub to feed. Today we decided to visit the Marsh in the morning and found two of the male Lions mating with two young females. Meanwhile, there finally are some interesting news about the Wildebeests’ migration. We have reports that many thousands of Wildebeests are crossing the Sand River, which flows along the border between Kenya and Tanzania. Along the Talek river we are starting to see some scattered small groups of Wildebeests running across the empty long grass plains. As one of these groups ran past the Rekero pride of Lions, we thought they would try to hunt them but they were so asleep they didn’t even notice.
