After a nice morning with a lioness with two cubs on the central Mara, we followed the three cheetahs for most of the day. They finally hunted successfully on a group of impalas. Two out of three cheetahs caught a fawn. However, one of them had no idea how to kill it, so he bite the fawn’s legs to keep it from running and called repeatedly for one of his siblings. As the brother reached him he killed the fawn finally. Interesting behavior to observe.
