While our early morning was quiet, things became quite interesting later, when we found a male Leopard who had stashed a kill in a solitary tree in the middle of the plains on Rhino ridge. He was very shy and obviously annoyed by the Tawny Eagles flying all over his kill. We watched him from a distance as he snarled to the Eagles and finally decided to take his kill down and on to a more secure and intimate place. He chose a beautiful Euphorbia tree on the edge of Rhino ridge where we photographed him as he finally rested and let us get close.
