Hi Laura!! Everyone had a great time and send many, many thanks to you both for exceeding their expectations. The guides were all great as usual. As you noted, yes, we got some really great looks at the painted wolves in Samburu which was special and some decent leopards in the landscape, fighting eagles and cheetahs. The Aberdares was very different. We didn’t have too much time to explore, but we did enjoy a nice viewing of elephants and buffalo at the watering hole in a rainstorm. And it was nice to give everyone a view of the diversity of landscapes in Kenya.
If I had to do it again (which I hope I do :), I would probably put the Mara last on the agenda and do any other excursions up front. It’s just hard to beat the Mara and the Mara Bush Camp, and of course, it’s different when you do this with just the guides without Federico. Communications are more challenging and the sense of urgency is not quite the same.
Again, thank you for all you do to make these trips so amazing and well planned.
Love to you all and can’t wait for March.
